- I love Bumkins Superbibs! They are cute, light weight, and last for years. They are perfect for a 6 month old starting solids. They are also perfect for an older toddler. My daughter is almost 3 years old and still wears one. I occasionally put one on my 6 year old if he's dressed nice (but we won't tell his friends that). Although, they are machine washable, I prefer to just rinse them off in the kitchen sink after a meal. Then I hang them on my Bib Drying Rack and they are dry before the next meal. This way, I only need to own 1-2 bibs per child. I always hated having a drawer full of bibs. I never liked having to put food-covered bibs in the laundry after each meal because the laundry would get moldy in the summertime. So, I highly recommend Bumkins Superbibs (along with a Bib Drying Rack).
